CHAPTER 1-5


1. Where does most of the action take place in chapter one?

2. What are some of Rob’s personality traits that make him popular?

3. What does Lance do to embarrass Simon?

4. In chapter one the author states that “we each hated him (Simon) for a different reason, but we didn’t realize it until the day we killed him.”       Predict why they hate him and how they kill him.

5.  In the following excerpt, what does the word “scuffled” mean?

“Girls squirmed, teachers twitched, and everyone scuffled to be first in line to give Rob whatever he wanted.”
